Refund Policy

You can cancel a paid Kentroi subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. What happens next depends on whether you are on an annual or a monthly plan. This policy explains both, and how any refund is calculated. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Annual plans

When you cancel an annual plan, you choose how the cancellation takes effect:

  • Refund the unused time now. Your access ends immediately and we refund the unused portion of the annual plan price you paid.
  • Keep access until the end of your term. Your plan stays active until the end of your current paid year and then ends, with no refund.

Either way, you are not charged again after you cancel.

How a prorated refund is calculated

A prorated refund covers the unused days remaining in your current annual term, based on the base subscription price you actually paid for that term (after any discount or coupon). For example, if you cancel about halfway through a year, you are refunded for roughly half of what you paid for the base plan.

A prorated refund does not include:

  • Usage-based charges you have already used, such as AI chatbot messages billed on top of your plan. Consumed usage is not refundable.
  • Earlier billing periods that have already ended.

The exact refund amount is shown to you before you confirm, so there are no surprises.

Monthly plans

When you cancel a monthly plan, your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period and then ends. Monthly fees are not refundable.

Free tier

The free tier has no charges, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time.

How to cancel and get a refund

Go to your billing dashboard and choose to cancel. If you are on an annual plan, you are asked whether to take the refund now or keep access until the end of your term. Refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account from Settings is permanent and cannot be undone. It immediately cancels any active subscription and removes your data, with no refund: any unused time on your current term is forfeited. If you are on an annual plan and want a prorated refund, cancel first and choose "Refund the unused time now," then delete your account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
